Fall is seriously becoming my favorite season! I just absolutely love the colors and the fun a little child can have by just playing with the fallen leaves on the ground. As you can see, this gorgeous family of three will be adding a fourth member to their clan possibly December or January. The mommy-to-be in this photos is a very talented hair stylist, who happens to be the woman behind my hair. I’ve been photographing her family for the past year and I am so excited I got the chance to hang out with them recently. By the looks of the big smiles on their faces, I think everyone is excited and ready for Baby Jack to arrive. Thanks Politte Family for trusting me once again with your family photos! I can’t wait to meet Mr. Jack!
Check out this adorable and photogenic family! It’s always fun shooting a family session especially when the family is your neighbors and babysitters. It was a true laid back session and they were up for anything which made them super easy to photograph. The Lawton’s live just a few houses down the street from us and their beautiful teen twins babysits my little toddler whenever I’m away photographing sessions. Of course, we scheduled their session on a weekend so the girls could be free of baby-sitting duties! Thank you for hanging out Lawtons!
August is my birthday month and unfortunately even in the last week it is usually still pretty HOT and HUMID out. Thankfully the Kumar Family braved out the heat and we ventured out along with their two sweetest dogs for a few family photos. We scheduled their session early in the morning in order to beat heat. The Kumar Family even packed some water and treats for their fur babies. We found a cool and shaded spot for their photos and pretty much stayed in that area and captured these timeless photos of them.
Thank you Kumar Family for trusting me to photograph your beautiful family!
It’s truly amazing how fast children grow before our eyes. The Martise Family have been loyal client since I photographed them last year. They are always on top of keeping their photos up to date in their home and making sure each milestone in their children’s lives is celebrated and documented by a session with me. This time we are celebrating Madison’s 6th birthday and Christopher’s 2nd birthday! It was a fun session filled with laughter and silliness by all. Check out these cuties below! See you this fall for your fall family session Martise Family!
Last month, I drove up to Iowa and spent a weekend with one of my best friends from college. Their family grew by one and it was a great excuse for me to drive up and meet her newest baby girl they named Noa. She and her husband along with big brother Eli and chocolate lab Duke live 15 minutes just outside the city of Des Moines. It’s always very refreshing to see wide open spaces and farm land. Most importantly, it was very nice catching up with one of my best friends. See their family session below and a few of one month old Noa. 🙂
I spent an evening with the Myers Family at Ft. Zumwalt Park. It was a very humid and hot day but despite the weather we were given I was very fortunate to capture a few images of this very sweet and lovely family. The park was still and quiet except for a handful of power walkers strolling around the park. We found a few wild flowers growing at the bottom of the hill at the edge of the pond rich with Lavender Flowers. I made sure that we made a stop there for the individual photos of each child with their parent. Sam, their oldest child is returning to college soon to finish his last year at Missouri State. It was the perfect occasion to schedule a family portrait session! Good luck and congrats on your last year of college Sam! Thank you Myers Family! I truly had a lovely time photographing your gorgeous family. 🙂
Thank heaven for little boys!!! With summer in full swing and four boys that keep their schedule busy, the Marcellino family wanted an outdoor session that conveys the energy of their family. The very lucky and talented woman in this family, Sara Marcellino, is the owner and photographer at Sara Marcellino Photography; so you could imagine how flattered I was when she chose me to do her family session! I chose Newtown in Saint Charles for the location of their session. I just love Newtown, it offers so many possibilities for photo session and their little shops there are just too cute! Mrs. Marcellino wanted to capture each of her boys’ personalities with her AND I have wanted to photograph a family taking an ice cream break. Be sure to stop by Bonnidell’s Ice Cream shop if you ever visit Newtown! 🙂 Scroll that mouse down to see this beautiful family’s session.
I just love Liam’s expression on the next photo below!
Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Marcellino, it was a pleasure spending some time with you guys and your sweet and active little boys!
